The Chateau Cottage is a self catering rental holiday cottage located near Crickhowell, in the Brecon Beacons National Park South Wales. It is a perfect base for walking, mountain biking, fishing and horse riding.

 

Nestling in the picturesque Usk Valley, the cottage has wonderful views of Sugar Loaf, the Blorenge and Llangattock mountain and is the perfect place for those wanting an action packed holiday, or alternatively relax, unwind and just enjoy the beautiful scenery.

 

Built in 1867 in the grounds of a country house, Chateau Holiday Cottage has accommodation for 4 persons (one double bedroom and a further bedroom with twin beds).   The mature cottage garden is approximately half an acre and is secure for both pets and children.

 

Chateau Holiday Cottage is pet friendly and our canine visitors rate the setting as 5 star plus.

 

There are many walks from the cottage, including a delightful river walk into Crickhowell (25 minutes) that has a variety of shops and restaurants specialising in local produce.

 

The Blue Bell pub, with good food and real ales, is only a 10 minute walk from the cottage and hosts a variety of entertainments.
